I answered a call from this number they claim to be with the federal government grant center an that i had been selected to recieve a grant in the ammount of $7843.53 which i didnt have to pay back . the money could be direct deposited to any checking or savings account or any visa or mastercard prepaid car cash card or standard credit or debit card . tben they ask you for your account number. And they ask you for your home address the correct spelling of your last name . im sorry but if it is the government why do they need that info . anyone else heard of this as being some new scam.

Said he was from dept of Treasury. Had thick Indian accent. Told him to remove me from call list and he got agitated. Scammer for sure.
