Received a call from 202-545-6966 claiming they are the IRS. Caller said the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. Caller had my full name and address. Caller also said they sent correspondences 3 times to the address.

I have received a call from 202-545-6966. Every time I call back it rings about six times and then turns into a busy signal. It list it is from the District of Columbia on my phone. Called two - three times a day for four days. Annoying to say the least.

This number 202-545-6966 called my cell phone three times this week.
april 20th 2015 thru april 23rd 2015.
The first call claimed to be the IRS and had my full name and address,
after asking to confirm my information the person demanded my mother's maiden
name or I would be "instantly prosecuted".
The second caller claimed to be from Wells Fargo Bank. (yeah, right!)
The third and final caller offered me a "Payday Loan"
The IRS will never ask for private information over the phone.
DEMAND any requests in writing. ALWAYS.
I wish I had the resources to call them all day and spoil the obvious SCAM they are perpetrating.
