Scam caller, same scam, same poor language syntax ("IRS has filed suit against you" -- not "The IRS" or "The Internal Revenue Service"...just "IRS")

IRS calling about a case on me. I called back to try to get on the do not call list and the guy basically told me I'm stupid. The phone they called on is not even connected to my name (company phone) and he insisted it was correct. I reported the number to the Unitded States Treasury (the office the man claimed to be from) and am putting their number on a prank site.

Received a call from this number stating the IRS has a legal case against me. I hung up on the recoding and did not call them back.

Robo-call stating they're from the Dept. of the Treasury saying my taxes were miscalculated. Funny thing, return has already been processed and refund been given. SCAM!

I received the same voicemail saying there was a miscalculation on my taxes & to call back, otherwise "good luck". I called H&R block first to see if they saw any errors. They said everything looked fine & the only ones who would call me would be them or the IRS. I did a search on the number & found this page so I will not be calling the number back

I returned this a call to this number and a guy with an Asian accent answered say, IRS. I ask for his name and he told me Alan Thomas, I then asked him what was the area code for Washington DC? He said F*** You right as he hung up. It is fun to quiz these people and see if they know things about the area they are supposedly from. They get really mad

Whoever this is knew my name and said there was legal action against me by the IRS....I asked him his ID number and told him that this was a scam...He hung up

I was told that I needed to respond immediately regarding a criminal charge against me and that, if I didn't, "Good luck. It's on you."
