Answered call from this number. Caller said they were soliciting donations to Habitat for Humanity. I have always donated through the mail, but this time used my credit card. I became uneasy about this, and called Habitat for Humanity. They said they have been using this company for quite a while, and the call was legitimate.

I called the number back. It is MDS Communications, which is a professional fundraiser for various charities, non-profit, and political organizations. The say on the call that they are exempt from the Do Not Call law (which I'm sure is correct), but they allow you to enter you number to have them put you on THEIR do not call list. I'm also blocking just in case.

At least the second call received from this number. I returned the call and to my great surprise I found on the other end of the line was a caller for the RNC at which point I requested they remove my name and she said thank you very much.
