Called us and left message that we were being investigated by IRS. Scam call for sure.

Got the same call ,202-559-7879. Same recording. It's a scam. I know for a fact its not them.didn't call back

Received a call from 202-559-7879 Washington DC. They informed me that I was being investigated by the IRS so I started asking them specific questions. They were being very sketchy in their answers. When I mentioned to them that this sounds more like a scam than the IRS they hung up on me. I believe the guy's name was Kevin.

I (in Colorado) received the same recorded msg. from (202) 559-7879 Washington DC., I am being investigated by the IRS, bla bla bla and to call back! Did not call back, but sounds fishy!

Caller: Forgot their name, sorry!

I received a pre-recorded call from 202 559-7879 called claiming to be the IRS and that I and my property are being investigated. I called the # back and the guy sounds like he just learned English and claim he is with the IRS but hung up on me when I told him he sounds like a scam.
