SCAM. Same as other comments....robo caller claiming to be Kimberly Brown with IRS and a criminal lawsuit case number. Love the "wish you a good luck as this situation unfolds on you" if you don't return the call. These people will get the karma due them for scaring people.

They did the same call to my sister in San Jose, Ca she was frantic. Told her it's a scam. IRS writes to customers. She is now relaxed

Yes, they called our number and said just about word for word what the other comments said. We reported it to police and they said it was a scam and has been going on for years. We both have heart problems and this didn't help us at all. Shame they can't be stopped

Word for word of the automated voice call: This is officer Kimberly Brown calling from the legal department of the Internal Revenue Service. This is in reference to criminal lawsuit filed against you. Your case number is CF79591. The moment you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My phone number is 2025959434. Do not disregard this message and do return the call Now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney, then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds on you. Goodbye. This message recieved on FRIDAY 838AM EASTERN TIME and came up on caller ID from Washington DC.

Got a call from this number stating the call was from Kimberly Brown with the IRS gave a case # for a criminal lawsuit against. What a joke

Recorded message from a woman claiming to be from the IRS. It was a threat. Demanded that I call back with my "attorney of record". Who falls for this nonsense? I suspect that it's aimed at the elderly. Someone really should go after these scam artists.

We received a call from this number. The message was a woman's automated ( recorded) voice from the IRS claiming there is a criminal Lawsuit being filed against us. Crazy!

I got one from them and I just hung up.

I received a menancing voice message from this number. I called the person back and told him that his scam was riduculous and that all I had to do was check the phone number on the internet. He told me this was his job and that I was jealous he was making so much money. I was rather shocked my this conversation. He basically admitted he was running a scam and making lots of money. Hope no one falls for this. He had such a thick accent that is was hard to follow him at times.

I got the same call. Man with foreign accent and said all of the above; that I have a criminal case and started to ask me who files my taxes. I told him right off that I want his name and number and that he is a scammer... he went silent, stopped talking and wouldn't respond.
