I just got off the phone with this person, supposedly I will be arrested today. The information they gave is all incorrect. They are very aggressive, I have reported it to the IRS.

Just got the same call for the same amount.Heavy Indian accent. I told him several times I can't understand him. He then told me I will go to jail for 6 years.

I just got the same call. the guy said his name was officer Simon Jackson. and also talked to a guy who calls himself David Lebryk. the amount in question was also exactly $2947. they told me in order to take care of it to go down to CVS and buy vouchers for AAPL and someone would come to the house to collect them. It's interesting how willing i was to turn over info when under pressure. although, thankfully, the only thing i gave them was my name and confirmed my address. no account numbers or anything.

I just receivers call from an Indian sounding man stating he was calling me as I was accused of tax fraud. I told him to please send me the paperwork by mail so I could look at it and he said that was not an option. After

Yes called me and said that I owed $2,947 and that I was going to jail.(IRS debt) US Treasury

I got a call today from 202-622-3000 telling me that I have a tax evection problem. She told me (her name is Lee Jones) to call 209-855-5107. I know its a scam. IRS does not call beside I don't have any tax problem.

Caller has foreign accent (middle Eastern?) so I could not make out all he said. He did say he was an officer with the United States Treasury. It was in my best interest to return the call and he could arrange an attorney for me. He seemed convincing but he didn't use my name or anything. If it was official, I believe they would know who they are calling.

They’re coming to get me in two hours (way past that time) to go to jail for 6 months for tax fraud.....Funny thing is his agent number is V1988 (like maybe the year he was born).....he didn’t find me funny when I challenged him.

I got a call today saying that I owed them money. When I called him out and said that the US Treasure Dept wouldn't contact someone by phone and that if this was legit he would have my address and he could mail his request to me. He wasn't very happy about that and tried to scare me by saying "this is a very important and serious offense, you could go to jail". When I said he was lying he called me a bimbo several times and when I laughed at him he hung up.
