Scam. I always hear that IRS will never initially, if ever, contact you by phone. As far as l'm aware the IRS will only send notices in letter by regular mail.

EVERY YEAR AROUND THIS TIME I GET CALLS FROM A DC NUMBER THIS TIME FROM 202 679 5720. THEY SAY THEY ARE FROM THE IRS AND THAT THEY ARE FILING A LAW SUIT AGAINST ME.
