they called me from an unknown number. and told me i was selected to receive government grant worth $7800,00. "Kelly smith" said all i have to do was to go to a western union with my ID, cell phone and $200. she said they were gonna send the $200 after two minutes and it was just to verify the signature. it was too good to be true so i checked the number and found out this is a very big fraud and they have been calling a lot of people. pls be aware and DON"T SEND ANY MONEY!!

She told me that I would receive $7,800 in federal grant money. I needed to go to a Western Union location and bring my identification, cell phone and $200.00 for a so-called security deposit. I hung up on her.

The callers name was Ciara,stating I was eligible for a Government Grant for $7800.00 and I didn't have to pay it back. She said all I had to do was go to a Western Union with my I.D.,cell phone and $200.00 dollars for security deposit which would be refunded along with the $7800.00. Well the first thing I did was check the number to see if it was a scam,and what do ya know it is a scam. Like the "OLD saying goes...IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUALLY IS.
