Okay, so I got the same scam call today, 5/20/2015. Now tell me what the government is going to do about this?

They called an me and when I called him out on it being a scam he made vulgar threats over and over and said he was coming to my house to do things to me....... was trying to record the conversation but I hung it up trying.

They called me. A. IRS doe not initiate investigations by phone. B. The IRS does NOT sue. After going through the procedurals, they will file LIENS directly on your home, bank accounts, income. They do not go through Courts.

These people should be executed by the US government!

Just received a call today. IRS filing a lawsuit left it on a voice message, so I called back and the number was busy. Really...don't fall for this scam.

This caller has no connext ion with the IRS. SCAMMER . 202 area code.

Just received a call from this number as well. When I called back this number, I heard a recording in French and English saying that this is not a working number.

I rejected the call and blocked the number.

I received a call stating they were the IRS and had a law suit against me - final notice.

Yes, I received the same call. I called back from a different number telling them where to go they finally blocked my calls.

Just got the automated call. I called the number back from a different phone line and a guy with a thick Indian accent answered saying he was the Internal Revenue Service. All the while theree sounded like a party was going on in the background. I hung up immediately. This is a pretty uncool scam.

Just received a call from them they are starting a law suit .... give me a break

Same scam IRS is going to sue

Add my complaint to all the others. Got it on the answering machine - it was not returned. Below is the call word for word. No mention of any name or case number. I guess you are asked to give your name/address on the return call which if it was legit would be a no-no request for cold calls (incoming). Government agencies, banks, credit card companies, etc… say they do not operate this way. Do not give out info on cold-calls. Also, would the IRS threaten a lawsuit then thank you at the end of the call? It would be funny if I didn't know that this scam works.

"Hello. We have been trying to reach you. This call is officially your final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of (sic) this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 202-684-6662. I repeat, 202-684-6662. Thank you."

how does the irs not shut this number down i know they will get another but shut it down
