Said my car was being towed for nonpayment but my car has been paid off for nearly a decade and I don't live anywhere near DC. Never been there.

They called me today too and said the same thing and then told me they had an affidavit for my arrest and would fax it over to my local sheriff's office. I hung up on them and as soon as I did I got a call from an "emergency number" telling me to come to the sheriff's office because they had a warrant for my arrest. My officers name was Austin Reed.

This number is call me saying it is the IRS and the Officers name is Jason Scott (but he had a very deep accent) and I owe 35k in back taxes. When I tried to get more information he became irate and disgruntle. Smdh
