Joel Collins called me today from 980-217-9611 says he's collecting money for the police officers fund I tell him I can not donate he insists on sending me a donation package requsting assurance I will return it wih my donation I say no I am on the do not call list he continues pressing me for a donation I hang up This has happened before I am on the do not call list and try to screen most of my calls

Mine is identical report to many others here....Sunday afternoon, 5/1/16, I called the number back after having no response when I answered (was in a confrontational mood, I guess), and got a male, Caucasian-sounding/American-ish human who mumbled "Hello?" I immediately asked who he was, and he said, "Thanks for calling back, this is (something unintelligible, but had to do with) American Veterans". I interrupted, quite rudely, told him I had already filed a complaint with the FCC on this particular number, and instructed him to never call my phone again. Will see if this works... Short of owning a rocket launcher and a physical address, this seems to be the only route to resolution.

They call many times a day and on weekends and night time. I do not answer the calls anymore as I know they want money. They just don't give up!

This number also changes to different ones but all are from the 202 area code Washington. Different names and males call it every day all day and after hours. It is a SCAM to try to get money using Veteran's as people always support Veteran's, so these SCAMMER'S use it to get you to give them money. The one that called tonight said he was Joel Collins. Such BullCrap. Another one before gave another name and I told him he was a scammer and to go to hell and he busted out laughing. Don't fall for this crap people.When they fail at this attempt to get money then they try another thing and start all over again.Last time they tried using the State Police and Fallen Officers which the news even mentioned it was a SCAM as they do not do this stuff. Attorney general office only puts you on a do not call list which these scammer's still can bypass and harass people all the time. Not very good help from them.
