This call is a Scam. There are many like it and the number changes frequently, the objective is the same. They threaten you with being served for fraud or something of that nature and if you don't contact them you will face criminal charges. If you do contact them they will not disclose any information to you until you give them personal information they can use to steal from you (identity, credit cards, etc...). Typically they are a debt collection company who has purchased "Zombie Debt" which they have no legal right to collect, so they use scare tactics. File a police report, most likely fraud or extortion and call them back with the case number, they will not call you again but they will sell your number to another scammer. You will never get rid of these people until you change your number and they will most likely find your new one.

Just got a call from here for someone that does not reside here. Said whoever they wanted was served. Well I do not think they can legally serve anyone on the phone but when searched for Deltman associates nothing would come up. Not going to give them the satisfaction of calling and having them remove my number as I just blocked it. I have had different places calling with different numbers leaving the same exact message. Blocked them and now that they can't get thru they used a different number. I have talked to my local police and they tell me not to even call them back but if you do call them donot give them any information. They will be checking this one out also.

This caller threatens me that I have a file against me from some unknown source and that I am going to be served with papers at my home or Business.

I think I'll call back and when the voice mail box isn't full and they actually answer I'll give them a fake SSN... But yeah, same deal here.

I received a voice mail from a woman at 202 697 4473: "This message is intended for ___ (my name was barely audible). I received a fax order regarding a complaint that was filed against you. I have been retained to file documents against you either at your residence or place of employment. If you have any questions or wish to the rectify the matter, you will need to call 202 697 4493 and give file ____.. You are hereby notified.

Bone heads called me too with same crap about a complaint being filed. I have a cool device that will block any number on a land line. They now just made my list of junk phone numbers.

Got the same call as everyone and decided to call back with my claim # and was asked to give the last four of my social before they could release any information and I refused and they said it was against federal law to release case information without authorizing my last four of social. Seems a little fishy to me!

2026974476 I got a call from this number and said the exact same thing as above they said a case is filed against me. We all have to notify police and block numbers like this. I'm doing that with local police

Received a recorded call. They said they had a complaint filed and I was getting served either at home or my place of employment, and at the end of the call she said you have officially been notified. I returned the call and they said that they were calling for a man. When calling back and giving them the claim # my name (gave them a bogus name) I'm put on hold then hung up on. I called back, same man answers (I'll play along to get information) put on hold for 10 min and gave up.

this number called me today used my husbands name and said they had a complaint filed and he was getting served either at work or home, and at the end of the call she said you have officially been notified. This happened about a month ago and he called back but she wouldnt give him any info on who was filing the complaint, they had his last 4 of his ss# and other info. but they stopped calling until today. I guess I will be filing a complaint.

I have the same problem. I called back and was told to hold, then I was hung up on. I was told that I was served on the phone.

2026974473 auto called us stated a complaint was files for some odd person that we do not know. When I called back to ask them to remove the #, they hung up on me 2 times. Extremely rude. I filed a complaint against them.
