I received a miss call. When I checked my messages it stated irs was suing me for me to give them a call. We googled the number and found this site and a few others saying its a scam. I'm relieved at its a scam but still the call had me very worried.

Left a message claiming that the IRS was filing a suit against me and that I needed to that this number. Caller ID was "Washington DC".

Recorded non-personal message claiming the IRS had been trying to reach me and was filing a lawsuit against me, and to call them back. I did not.

I called back and said the IRS in not in Washington, DC. I believe they wanted info from me but I was not giving them anything. I asked a bunch of questions until he hung up.
