Just got a call from Rachel. Called back and got a guy with an Indian accent. The phone just rang once and he picked it up. I asked what this was for - he said tax evasion for my husband for the years 2007-2011. I said that we have our taxes done each year at H&R Block and I would have our agent contact him. When I asked for his 'direct line' he hung up. When I tried to call right back, it was fast busy.

a british woman called and said our name was pulled and being investigated for tax evasion...scam written all over this !! didn't call back

They called. I called back. Person said Internal Revenue Service. I asked him "Internal" what? He started abusing in Hindi. I hung up.

Someone who could barely speak English with the name Mike Cross. Asked to speak to his supervisor, and he told me he didn't have one, and then he told me someone was coming to arrest me right now and hung up.

Automated voice of Rachael (with accent) from IRS crime investigation dept. Wanted a call back. Definitely a scam. Long hesitation & then "goodbye."

Automated voice with British accent said it was IRS and they will arrest me for tax crimes. Wanted me to call them back.
