(202) 697-9743

I have been receiving numerous unknown calls from 202-697-9743 saying they are from the US GOVERNMENT. I demanded to speak with a manager or supervisor and they gave me a hard time. They finally gave me their number and I had to call back 7 times because the reps kept hanging up on me. I told them to remove my number and they yelled at me and swore at me. They called me back and cursed me out.

Got a call from 835-093-8644, recording that said I was being sued by the IRS and that this call was from the IRS, I was told to call 202-697-9143. Very bold scam. I searched the number and came up with this site so decided to post. I anyone reading this receives a similar call don't be fooled and don't call back. This has been reported to the FTC at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. Interesting though, I was audited last November and passed the audit. - makes you wonder if someone in the IRS is selling phone numbers.

I got the same call and told the guy it was too good to be true he kept on and on and he finally hung up

I was called from 416-364-1111 (Ontario, Canada) and they said I needed to call this number 202-697-9743 to get over 9200.00 grant money since I pay my bills on time & I have no criminal record.

This is so obviously a scam, no one gives away that amount of money.

I got the same call and was sketched out so i didn't do it haha
