Hey we just got the same call! I say play along with them and waste their time as well.

As above, message left on answering machine telling me I was going to be arrested for tax fraud. I called back the 202-738-446, a man who could not speak very good English answered and I asked who this was, he would not answer. A scam and fraud, I pay taxes every year. They are using the U.S. Federal treasury Dept. to identify themselves.

Iceived a call from area code 202-738-4446, a woman identifying herself as Ms McGuire agent #4165 from the U.S. Treasury Dept. She said a tax fraud complaint had been issued against my name. She said I would have to call her back or go to court, or be arrested. She never identified me by name in the call. I called back and the phone range 20 times with no answer, I called again and the line was busy, the 3rd call a recording came and this person was not available. I notified the Better Business Bureau in my area and they gave me a 800 number to the U. S. Treasury Dept. to report the call. This call was on my house phone.

There was no name given but I was told I would be arrested for tax fraud. Since I have to pay taxes every year, I'm sure they would have let me know April 15th. I did not return the call.
