I got the same call this morning. caller id 217 398 9544. Recorded message about them suing me. Denver area.

A message left (caller-id was 3034429287) claiming that caller was "The IRS" and they were notifying me that they are suing me. Claimed that I should call 202-747-2156 immediately for more info.

I received the same message on my answering machine and it was an automated message saying the IRS was suing me and to call immediately - my last chance. -- Chicago area

My case is same as yours. There is a message in my answer machine. It says that IRS is suing me asks me to call 2027472156 immediately. I never received any notice from IRS for anything yet. -- Boston Area

I got the same message. Caller ID was 714-535-1665. I agree with your comments.

A message left (caller-id was 516-785-9767) claiming that caller was "The IRS" and they were notifying me that they are suing me. Claimed that I should call 202-747-2156 immediately for more info. That's credible. The IRS always 'sues' people, always notifies you by voicemail, and never provides any supporting info. I think I'll wait for more legitimate communication prior to calling back.
