Complete SCAM! IRS will never call you by phone they will send you out an official notice and they never have to ask you your name or ss number they will already have it in their records. Tell your friends and loved ones, especially Senior citizens this is a scam and DO NOT give t their bank or credit card information, and block the number and also report it to Consumer Affairs.

The IRS NEVER - NEVER calls you. To speak to them requires an advance arrangement - and then YOU have to call them at a number they provide. Don't be gullible.

they call several times a day including weekends. claim to be irs and threatened to take my property. today I was told he was going to call the FBI on me. They dont use my name and leave threatening recordings which IRS would not do. Anonymous

This is clearly an attempt to scare people into paying money they do not owe. The IRS doesn't call people, they send official letters with scary threats. I got this call today and disregarded it. Wish someone would catch them at this game.

CallerID is BLOCKED CALL, voice message says IRS issue and to call 202-798-3383. Let;s see (1) hiding CallerID (2) automating outcall (3) disregarding DoNotCallList (4) Impersonating the IRS. Hard to imagine there is anything legitimate about this.

I have received 3 calls from this number stated I had a legal notice against my name. It is an automated voicemail message as I don't answer the call.
