They wanted to fix my computer - I believe it was a known scam. They (Victor) claimed to be from Windows and they claimed to be getting error messages from my computer and wanted me to turn it on so they could help me to fix it. My wife found information on her phone while I had them on the line that indicated that this is a known scam. They were persistent, even calling back after I hung up on them. Person had foreign accent and call was choppy and hard to hear clearly. I asked for their phone number, and after a pause they said toll free 202-803-5845, which is probably bogus (certainly not toll free at least).
