Just received a call from this scammer threatening to have me arrested & put in jail, then saying "good luck:, To some unsuspecting person, this call could appear legit since the area code called from is Washington, DC. The IRS would NEVER contact anyone in this fashion.

They called me threatening me with imprisonment and arrest within 45 minutes everytime I asked a question! Then threatened me not to talk to anyone about the call!!!

Scammers! They called threatening my arrest from tax fraud. Said the sheriff was going to be at my house within 45 minutes. I called them back 5-10 times, they kept hanging up on me because they knew I was on to their scam.

They called with a reference number, saying for me or my appointed lawyer to return the call, and if I didn't that the only thing they could do for me is wish me good luck.

They are claiming to be irs and leaving case number, badge ID, name. Threatening me that there will be a warrant for my arrest. They said I could take care of it outside of the courts or authorities would be notified.
