called my cell phone number on 6/14/2016
I received the same call as everyone else: supposedly owe IRS money, claimed I would be prosecuted if I contacted my CPA or lawyer or if I told my husband, claimed there is a warrant for my arrest. Claimed I could not even get off the phone. Today I received a call from this number (202) 760-2358, which is also listed on this site as an IRS scammer, so they must be working together. With that number all I got was an automated recording saying "thank you, goodbye". I presume it was mistimed as supposed to be telling me to call them back. The person had an Indian accent and said his name was Andy Colson. He got real nervous when I asked for things like his name and badge number. I should have done that immediately.

I received this call yesterday. When I started questioning him about the validity of being from t
he IRS he hung up.
Someone identifying himself as Officer Thomas Lee, Badge #683 called saying the IRS had identified discrepancies in my tax returns and is filing a lawsuit against me for defrauding the federal government of the US. Then he told me to hold on (I hung up on him once I had googled the IRS scam)
