My wife had this same voice mail. She at first when I heard got scared and then I said its a Scam, even my kids know this was scam and then I searched internet with this number and found this blog... thank you all for sharing. I recently found out these scammers even call offices and work places.

Whenever I get calls of this nature I immediately check it out on the internet. Low and behold the scammers number is listed here. Glad people take the time to add notes. It does help..

Got same call today. Threatened a law suit. At first I was scared, then it just did not ring true. They IRS issues liens and levys your bank accounts. They do not file law suits.

Received call this morning and when I called back he only wanted to know my cell phone number and when I asked his name he gave me 2 different names. Henry Parker and Andy Blain. I just hung up.

the recorded message had a few errors. This call is from IRS...not from "the" IRS...and "filing lawsuit" against you - not "filing a lawsuit"

Recieved the same call from the "IRS" around 8:30 This morning. It was a recording. It didnt state my name or anything. It just said "We have been trying to reach and this is your final notice, that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and to call back the number being reported on this site!!! I just laughed my ass off and went back to my business this morning. If The IRS was looking for you, your mailbox would have notices in it and you would be able to dispute items being claimed against you. Start water boarding these assholes!!!!!

Recevied call today from this # and they stated they were filling suit against me and wanted my name when I called back. They stated they were calling for some other person and when I said I wasn't that person they hung up on me

Called from an unknown number, said it was Internal Revenue Services, who is filing a case against me, and to call this number to get more info. Duh, if it was real, they would mail a letter, not call. Scared me for a minute though!

Received a message a few moments ago identifying itself as IRS; later on as Internal Revenue Services (sic) with an "s" at the end of Services. The real IRS does not have an "s" at the end of its title. The gist of the call is the IRS is going to take action against me (not naming me specifically.
