The same number told they were from Publisher's, didn't specify Clearing House but either way the call sounded automated so I didn't talk much and just heard the same garble only when they were silent

Yes!! ! They call everyday at 6pm. Just blocked the number and voila no more calls
Scam call for magazine sales.."Ashley" predictive interactive response robot. answer correctly and get transferred to Karen Carker who sells you magazines.. gave out Direct Service of america as company name and 800 971 0059 as customer service number. Suposedly out of omaha neb, even thogh a CT area code is used. I told her I am on the national do not call registry
