Yup; again. I've put them on my "reject" list so my phone should eliminate them. As to the "Do not call list; obviously CONGRESS is more interested in accommodating them then they are about serving "We the people" whom they purport to represent. If we had GENUINE elections here, "We the people" could replace these shameless, Ruling Party parasites with REAL representatives!

POLITICAL SURVEY. I'd had several calls from this number and hadn't bothered to answer them so I decided to see what they wanted so they would quit called. The gentlemen I spoke with was very pleasant. I went ahead and answered his question which weren't too invasive.

CALLED MY MOTHER'S HOUSE. SHE ANSWERED AND COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE WOMAN AND HUNG UP.
I HAVE GOTTEN ENOUGH INFORMATION FROM OTHER COMMENTS TO REPORT THESE FOLKS TO FCC N THE GOV'T DO NOT CALL LIST.

DO NOT CALL MEANS DO NOT CALL. MAYBE THEY WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ILLEGAL CALLS N PUT A STOP TO THESE CALLS.

I am on the do not call list. They called me today - 7/23/2015 - 7:30pmET. I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. They left a message saying they were from Quinnipiac Univerity Survey and they would call again. They did not leave a return phone number. I called them and got a recording to leave my number on an answering machine if I did not want a call back. Thankfully, I got their direct number from someone else's post here (203-582-5201). (Should give this number to Donald Trump to give out to everyone.) Asked them how they got my number and was told that they got it from a list and could not tell who provided them with my number. I told them I was on the do not call list and asked to be removed asap permanently from their lists. I made them take me off right away versus getting to it later today or whenever they felt like it. Suggested to them that in the future, they compare their call list to the 'do not call list' and remove the numbers from the do not call list before dialing anyone. They said they were exempt from the do not call list because they are doing research. I asked them if it was ok for anyone to break the law in the interest of research. No answer from them - just crickets chirping in the background...

how'd they get my digits?

Calls are at least once a day on land line that we no longer answer. My guess is this is a contractor for Quinnipiac University (an otherwise reputable institution) or for some affiliate who is authorized to use the name and has resources to man a boiler room well after midnight EST. Quinnipiac is noted for public policy research, but this shatters my image of them, and such aggressive methodology taints whatever outcomes this project might deliver. (Unless it is a study of effects of overly-persistent telephonic survey solicitation.)

They called me on my CELL PHONE, which I don't give out to ANYONE. (I have a land-line which I specifically use in case it gets on junk-caller lists.)
So, how did they get my phone number, why did they call me, and why do they think it's okay to use my minutes answering their "opinion poll".

My cell phone number is on the FTC Do Not Call List and I reported them.

If they randomly generate numbers to call, why don't they check the numbers against the FTC Do Not Call List? Here's a hint for them: if people are on the Do Not Call List, then they probably shouldn't call!

This is a polling company in CT. They ring ignore the after 9pm rule the do not call rule etc. I suggest you call their office 203 582 5201 and complain if you get a call from these people. If everyone did they may change tack.
