Quinnipac University calling to take a poll. Don't want their calls and resent calls at 9:00 at night. I'm on a do not call list and this should be checked before calling people.

Do Not Answer calls from people you do not know. If everyone would do this it would put them out of bussiness. Call your congressman to complain. The only reason surveys or what ever are allowed is because congressmen use them.

They call after 9pm at night repeatedly which is illegal but know one cares.

It is not right that some individuals call your phone number when you haven't given them, and it is not right when you have to pay for some one who is intruding your privacy without authorization.

If you call the number it tells you it's a survey from Quinnipiac University and to call 203-582-5201 to stop the calls. I called 203-582-5201, spoke to a human, told them off, told them they need to stop assuming everyone with a cell phone has unlimited call service, that the incoming and outgoing calls cost us money, told them I'd call the attorney general's office if the calls did not stop and I'd organize a class action suit against them with all the hundreds of others who are sick of the calls. Most likely they are being paid to do the survey and that is why they are so persistant. I realize colleges need funds, but shouldn't be at our expense!

ALL polls and junk calls should be ILLEGAL when cel phones are concerned. It is UNFAIR to not only be BOTHERED, but also have to PAY for the 'privilege' of being bothered!

Said he calls cell phones "randomly". When I told him he wasn't allowed to call my cell for any reason, without my giving it out first, he argued that he could for a (so-called) SURVEY.
NO, not when I'm paying by the minute!
Unfortunately, land lines voip's etc, are exempt; cell phones are NOT, to my knowledge.
