credit card interest lowered
"Mr. Johnson" offered to transfer my credit card balances and wanted to know if I had at least $15,000 in credit card debt. I said I did. He asked me for a credit card number, expiration date, the three digits on the back, my billing zip code, and customer service phone number on the back of the card. I could tell from the beginning of the call it was a scam, so I just rattled off some incomplete numbers, just to see if he would check it. He said he needed to "verify some things" and put me on hold. About five minutes later, the same guy returned to the line and asked me if I was holding for the offer. I reminded him that he was the one who put me on hold so he could run my information. Then he said my info couldn't be verified and asked me for it again. This time I gave him completely different random information. He said I knew the info wasn't valid and he didn't have "time to play". I told him I didn't care and that I didn't have time for his bullshit phone calls and hung up.

Refinancing credit card interest rates or consolidating credit.
That I am eligible to lower my credit interest rate. I've spoken with my credit card company about this and they said that they were not making these calls.
