It says "Please do not hang up, there is nothing wrong with your account. Then the recording goes on to say that they will lower you interest rates"
This company has called me 2 times a day for months. At first 1 listened to the call and selected option 1 to talk to live person. Asked them to put me on do not call list. The guy just hung up on me. I am on the national do not call registery. These calls are very annoying.

I have received more than 500 "lower your credit card interest rate" calls on my unlisted - Do Not Call registered cell phone. They are now calling 4 to 5 times per day. These calls have been increasing ever since the FCC has taken action against the 9 robocall spammers.
Slapping them with a fine that they do not have to pay isn't going to deter them at all. You need to go after them in CRIMINAL court for the advance fee fraud and the identity theft.

Credit cards

credit card. won't tell me who they are when I asked only that they have a credit card with a lower interest rate. Won't tell me what credit card without my info. I told them I did not give my information out over the phone and asked for them to mail the info to me thinking I could get their information but never received anything. Not sure if this is a scam to get personal info or if they really are offering a credit card.
