losers.I'm on the do not call list.
These are scammers trying to get your credit card number over the phone by claiming to lower your interest rates. They are trying to steal from you. NEVER give out your credit card number over the phone.
You have to call the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION and report them. The more people that report these rip-off artists the better chance of them being shut down.
Machine voice, something about credit cards, "This is your second and final notice...", Ive been getting so many calls about the final notice, but Ive never heard the first notice about our credit. Clearly a scam. It's a salesperson trick: To make you think there is an urgency to get you to answer it.
I listened through the whole message, but there wasn't even a way to stop calls like "Press # to be removed from our list" or anything. Im on the do not call list.
I told the caller I don't have any credit cards and to please stop calling me, but he hung up! It infuriated me, so it put me on a mission to stop them from calling me again. With success, I'm here with the solution that I want to pass it on to folks; call 866-246-7196 and give the caller's and receiving phone numbers. In 1-2 business days, the calls will stop!
Incoming call to a cell phone. Cell phone number on both the state and federal do-not-call registries. Robo caller message from 205-409-0895 states: ”there is nothing wrong with your credit card account but it may be possible to lower account interest rate. Press one to be connected to a representative or press three to be put on our do not call list.” After several seconds of no sounds, call disconnects.
A return call to this number 205-409-0895 results in no connection.
