Phone rang twice, caller disconnected. Called my cell phone only # shows no other ID. Caller left no message.

these people keep calling me from different numbers. they claim I owe a debt for a cell phone that I never bought. I ask them to prove it was me, but they will not. so I just do not answer my phone to numbers I don't recognize.

Keeps calling and never leaves a message! Judging from the other comments it looks like they are some type of collection agency. But I don't have any debt!

These pepole are annoying...they call constantly from all different sorts of numbers... they once called me at 10pm which i know is illegal...this debt was from washington mutual back in 2000 ..i told them this account is way too old....they told me that i still owe them the money...i like to piss them off.....so i tell them i don't owe you anything..i owe wash mutual and they are no longer in business..they said well we own it now..we purchased it from wash mutual......so i tell them..well you're idiots who's going to pay a debt thats 10 yrs old and not even on their credit report anymore......i like to answer all their calls ..it's a great way to get all my aggressions out....they always end up pissed off and they usually hang up on me...these people at portfolio seem really uneducated..they're fun to play with..bring it on portfolio recovery....

These people need to stop, they do not listen when you tell them they are calling the wrong number. The name of the idiotic company is portfolio recovery. Not only are they calling on the wrong number. The person informed me they were calling on a debt that is over 10 years old. Isn't it illegal to harrass someone like this? Especially if it's the wrong phone number and on a debt that is most likely outside of the Statute of Limitations? Good freakin lord. These people need to be out of business.

These people continue to call here for someone we don't know. I told them we don't know the person and they get really beligerent.

The irony is that they even say who they're calling for and do not alter their script when you inform them that they have the wrong number.
