Got a call today from a lady saying I qualified to receive a government grant and all I had to do was pay $3 for processing it but when I suggested that they take it out the grant money some guy jumped on the phone telling me to get lost and why I was wasting his time? I reminded him that they called me and exchanged a few words (very professional of an agency that supposedly represents a government grant program ) and I hung up. Obvious scam!!!!

Got call from this number. All automated. I said hello twice before a woman said good bye. Tried calling # back and it kept saying my call did not go through. Googled number and came up with Justin Williams. Scam.

Justin williams called me to say I applied for a government grant free money six months ago and saying I wouldnt have to pay the money back but need a 3 dollars registration fee. Called me from a San Antonio number and gave me the Alabama number to call back on and said he was a senior supervisors.. supposedly his empkoyee number is 9576.

he basically said he was from the government and wouldnt say details of the grant.. asked for a 3 $ fee. told me my email address, city and zipcode (creepy af). its an obvious scam

i got a call from us financial resources firstly i thought it scam but i got registered under gov. grant . i received a grant from gov. thank you

Yes so called justin williams said i got a grant and he needed my credut card number

Someone saying their name was 'Jerry 'Williams' (going by the thick Indian accent, I doubt that was his real name) calls from this number talking about how I got approved for a grant then wanted information and $3.00...I'm not an idiot so I looked them up...it is some place called LESKO and they have numerous consumer fraud reports... When called out on this, they yelled and hung up on me...

I just got a call from this number and said his name is justin williams. The accent sounds like Indian. Wanted my bank information or credit card number. Clearly a scam

I got a call from this number he said I got approved in a government grant and asked me my debit card because I had to pay 3 dollars. This is a scam

I also got a couple calls from this guy. He was clearly middle eastern from his accent, but he stated his name was Justin Williams, I doubt that. He too was telling me about how I was approved for a state government grant, for which I never applied. I kept asking a bunch of questions trying to get information about him, his company, or the grant being issued, and his only responses were don't worry, its ok, I'm with the state government, which nobody who works for the state talks like that, and all he kept trying to get was my credit car number. He also called from a las vegas number as well. Clearly a scam.

I got a call from this number he never said his name just said he was working for the government and I got approved for a ferment grant loan and that I would have to pay a few of 3 dollars for the application and I never even filled an application out for anything like that he said it was for housing or helping with bills and asked for my credit x ars number. But there was no way I was going to give it to him so I hung up the phone amd he called back from a different number but I just hung up the phone
