Fraud Saala. A guy, seemingly Indian, left a message asking me to report to police or him, George Martin, for a federal investigation. I am an Indian and this guy called me on my cell phone that I do not share carelessly, so its likely that one of my Indian contacts in ATLANTA, GA has passed on my number to him.

got similar call from "Peter Smith" from IRS who left me a message that I need to get back to him urgently or I could get arrested. Clearly a scam. Go fish !

received the same thing - said they were sean o connor and soon as I asked them questions they just hung up

LOL - just got a call from James O'Connor who sounded very Indian, to call a Sean Woods. That the IRS department of tax crime is having a case against me. Made him give me the names of the supervisor and the supervisor of the supervisor. he struggled when i asked for the batch # ;-) ..........

Right away i new these guys were scamers. They were pritending, they were IRS. Don't fall into their tricks.

Got a call from an "officer" with the FBI that had a warrant for my arrest. If I was interested in hearing about it, they would connect me with someone who could help settle the matter. Otherwise, they were going to issue a warrant for my arrest and officers would be coming by to arrest me. No thanks...send something in the mail so I know it's legit. They said they had 3 times and I hadn't responded, so they were issuing a warrant.

I just called this number from privet number and when he asked me about my name I said “Myter” then I spilled out my name as “my turban is dirty “ He start laughing and start telling me how his company enjoys scamming north American people because of their stupidity. He said they make over 60K monthly profit and they are not located in India. He said they are in Jamaica. When asked him from where he gets the contact information he said that it is available for free in the white pages. We should increase our privacy on the net. The problem us law allows the companies to do that and you are in title to opt out! I think they are in India . When I traced the number looks like it belongs to US land line but I think it is like Magic Jack of disconnected number.

IRS scam. Caller ID was Utah County Sheriff. Told me I had an outstanding warrant and they were going to send an officer and arrest me. I talked with a man named John Khan (con) and he told me the FBI has known for 10 years about them and cannot do anything to stop them. He even called his work a scam. Told me he was in Hyderabad, India. He would not tell me the street address. Seemed like a nice guy. He was born in Pakistan, but has lived in India for some time.

I just receive same call asking me to call this number

Threatened with immediate arrest if I did not return call in 30 minutes due to IRS violations. Name was Sean O'Connor -- bogus I'm sure because of the thick Indian accent.
