IRS Scam

Called at 7:15 AM CST, HMM that's 5:15 Pacific time. I can only wish our gov. employees were half as diligent, LOL

They left a message on my home phone telling me that we were being sued by the IRS. Now I know that if I was having a problem with the IRS, I'd get a letter from them. They would not call. And they would go through my accountant, not me (he does our taxes). A woman's voice, and it sounded like she was trying to threatening. I'm wondering what she could possibly get out of this spam/scam.

I just got a call from them. They are fraudulent and threaten to sue if you do not pay them. Serious SCAM - Someone needs to shut them down. They said I owed past taxes from 2009 until current date. I asked what my 2014 amount that was owed was and they couldn't give me that number. I hung up the phone.

These IDIOTS just called me. Same story except I just told them exactly what I thought.. In fact since they life such dishonest life's I'm going to call them again and again and be the biggest ass I can!!!

How can these people not get busted? The IRS should really put a stop to this. I feel bad for the people that fall for it and pay. JUST WRONG!

Just got a call from them, 206.201.2362. told me I owed $5986.73 in back taxes from an audit did on my 2009-2015 taxes and they had tried to reach me several times before. David Miller was the Sr. Investigator and Mark was the person I spoke with when I called in. They told me that they were issuing a warrant for my arrest and seizing my accounts. had me freaked out and then I finally got ahold of my accountant and he let me know that I was not the first victim, unfortunately there have been people who paid....

Yes, these guys are still at it. Got a call from them just now. Somebody needs to shut them down.

Automated female voice claiming to be w/ IRS.
Scam.

Same story for me. Got the automated message about a lawsuit against me. When I called they said I was speaking to Officer Stephen Miller and they were going to arrest me for $2,000 in taxes. When I spoke with my CPA they told me this was a scam.

Got a computerized call saying IRS is threatening lawsuit and I needed to call the number.

I told them I would give my accountant a call and they said they were shutting off my drivers license, seizing my bank accounts and coming to throw me in jail unless I paid them $6000 over the phone. Whoa

Caller (with heavy middle eastern accent, no offense) states my name and reports his badge number, says he is with IRS, says "You're running away from the government, we will put you behind bars! We have a warrant for your arrest for bad taxes! Do not leave your house for 45 minutes we will be there in the next 2 hours". 1. His accusations were completely false 2. IRS doesn't call you with threats 3. I called the police for house monitoring. Please report if this happened to you!
