I received the same voicemail. I attempted to call back and it said, "The person you are trying to reach cannot be reached at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience." It definitely seems to be a scam.

I got the same voicemail message that IRS has a lawsuit file against me. I called back, they asked me if I want to resolve the tax I owe over the phone or at the court... I asked to mail me all the document, I will review and pay the dues. He refused to mail it to me and gave me all kinds of IRS laws, blah..blah... I told him since I don't understand English very well, if he doesn't want to send me the document, then I will have my lawyer call him. He got upset and yelled at me, threatening to send the warrant to my house tomorrow, then hung up.

THIS OBVIOUSLY IS A SCAM!!!

Same problem. Called yesterday, said "IRS is filing a lawsuit against you." Left this number. I called back today but no answer after 6-7 rings. I'm sure it's a scam./ I've dealt with IRS before, and they send all sorts of things by mail, not by telephone calls.

I just got the same call. this is freaking annoying. make it stop.
