Just received the same message as above. Hell will freeze over before I call them back. Just in case you don't know the IRS will NEVER reach out to you by phone ALWAYS by paper.....please don't fall for this scam!

Got a call telling me I was gonna get arrested if I didn't pay 1000.00 today.I told them I had no money and he asked if I can have someone loan me the money. I told him I didn't have money, he said to call back to set up payment plans.

Got a call from this number with a recorded message saying that they are the IRS and it is officially the last notice about a tax fraud against me. To call before it goes to court or I get arrested. I called and they answered the phone that it was the Unites States treasury and how may I help you. I asked back if this was the IRS and they hung up. Called back and a woman with an accent answered and said this was the United States treasury. I asked her emphatically if this is the real United States treasury and the woman called me an @sshole! I told her she was going to get arrested for this scam and she also hung up. It's so stupid it's comical!!!!

Recording audio, Native speaker asking me to contact them urgently to solve an IRS fraud problem before they arest me. I called the IRS directly instead of that number. No problems were found.

I called them back and told them they have been flagged as scammers and the Indian lady to who answered hung up on me. The IRS would have an automated system answer the phone not a person.

Just received robocall from this number, and it recorded when I didn't answer. I happen to know a person in Seattle, but I don't think he has my number, and he wouldn't be calling before 7 in the morning his time - since he delivers pizzas at night! Yep-American sounding guy from the IRS threatening to arrest me. Got a robocall on my house phone from an Indian guy from the IRS, also threatening to arrest me. I didn't write that number down, but I think it was from Wisconsin. LOVE that the 'do not call' thing - like most government agencies - works so well.

I just got the same call, coming from a non-fixed voip. These non-fixed voips are often used by scammers because they are non traceable.

I just got the same call about 20 minutes ago!

Once I figured out what was going on, I had a little fun with the caller, and he told me to stuff the cash up my a**. They are crooked Indian thieves, but worst of all they are rude!

These scammers have called numerous times about purported tax fraud and threats of the IRS coming to arrest me (with no previous notification in writing or even by phone). Initially the callers (a man and a woman) had Indian accents. Now they seem to have found some kind of automated service with this message:

"This call is officially a final notice from the IRS. The nature and the purpose of this call is to inform you that we have received legal petition notice concerning a tax fraud against you. So before this matter goes to the federal claims courthouse or before you get arrested, please call immediately on our department number, 206-209-1032. Make sure you call us as soon as possible."

I hope nobody falls for these criminals!
