Rec'd a call today from 206-317-1464. ERIC gave me a "confirmation #" and stated that I was one of 1700 people "randomly chosen" by the US Govt Grant Dept due to "no debt, good credit, no criminal history and taxes paid on time". Promised $7000 tax-free govt grant. Eric claimed to know "all my information from the gov't" including my b'day, address, phone # and SSN. I did not and will not verify if the information was inaccurate or not.

This call has been reported to the local police who will investigate the call
A fraud alert has been initiated at my bank and three credit reporting agencies.

If this happens to you:
1) DO NOT CONFIRM OR VOLUNTEER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION
2) INITIATE A 90day FRAUD ALERT with:
Equifax 888-766-0008 OR Experion 888-397-3742 OR TransUnion 800-888-4213 (These are legit companies)
3) Call your local police department and phone carrier to report an attempt at fraud.

I called the phone# back to advise "Eric" that a police report has been filed and a fraud alert started. "Eric" called me a "f***g b**th" and other very unpleasant terms. He then called my home phone on an untraceable Skype call to further berate me and to ask if I had "b**bs" or if I was just " a piece of s**t"

I just received a call from an unknown #. I happened to be home today & figured I would answer it. Apparently they had been trying to call over the last few days as I saw several calls from an unknown # but no message was left. As I saw in the messages that had been left on this website a man with a middle eastern accent named Eric, informed me that I was to receive a US Gov't Grant due to my great bill paying ability and I was to use it anyway I wanted other than for illegal purposes. Really ! Because I was suspicious and I truly did have a hard time hearing him I asked for a phone # & contact name or reference # in case I got disconnected. Meanwhile I immediately got on the internet and looked up the # given & came to this website. Everyone needs to be so carful this day. Upon getting this knowledge I told him I was tracing the call, calling the police and reporting him & his company. Phone call disconnected.
