We got a call from this number claiming to be the IRS. I did not respond in anyway because we all know the IRS does not call you via robocall and ask you to return the call. But I did check here to see if others had received the call also.

They called me and I'm 14, obviously the IRS is coming after me! I've never paid taxes in my life!!!! They told me that the IRS was building a lawsuit against me, and to call some number for more information, than they hung up.

Same thing happened to me . Got a call from 1+206-317-1467 voice messages says "IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and to call for more information on case file" When I tried to call all I get is a busy signal. Then I did a # search online and saw all the comments here. So I will not answer or return calls in fact will give all the number's thy have called from and the info left on my voice mail to my attorney. This need's to end.

Same scam as above. Robovoice message left on my cell.

Message states:

Internal Revenue Services

The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you.

To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 206-317-1467

I repeat 206-317-1467

You would think that if they where trying to pass themselves off as official IRS and dupe folks that they would get their grammar right. Or, maybe even leave a name or bogus "case file" number. Pretty amateur if you ask me. Did not even return call.

I have gotten about 7 calls all from different numbers claiming the same thing. The scary thing is that they had my Social Security NUmber. I did not confirm that it was my number and they had previous addresses I lived at. They said there was a warrant for my arrest for failing to payback a payday loan. This is the latest number they called from.

Same thing happened to me rob caller left a message telling me to call back on this number and when I called back that number is busy signal. Good thing I checked otherwise I would got really nervous and believed them.

They were claiming a lawsuit was filed and that I was going to have to go to a bank, withdraw cash and EFT it to the IRS. They claimed there was an arrest warrant out against me and all I had to do was send the cash. They tried to get $5K from me! It was very convincing and, until he refused to let me speak to their lawyer, I was following protocol. I felt like I had to comply, for real, and it was very nerve wracking. Don’t call back.

Received the same message The IRS filed a lawsuit against me. I tried to call back and received a busy signal. I know for a fact that the IRS does not call. Matter a fact I saw a news report on this same scam and they said do not give any info, or of course money. The IRS sends letters first, then takes you assets. Please do not call them back, talk to them or please do not offer to give them money.

They called me with the same scam. As I wouldn't give them any info, the guy said he wanted to f**k me and I could s**k his d**k. I blocked the number.

I've been hanging up and auto-rejecting these phone calls for months now. They just keep calling me from a new number so there isn't much I can do.

Freaked out and Now Mad. They call me today too with the same message about a lawsuit. I phoned back and they sounded like a call center and before I answered her questions, I was firm about inquiring about this "lawsuit". I asked if I was being audited, and then she said three choice expletives (Fu*& -Off -Bi$5h) and hung up. Freaks!

yes and the robo caller left a message robo message was: "This call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Immediately call this number 206-317-1467 to find out details of the of the claim"
