I received a call from Washington with some woman with a heavy foreign accent claiming to be from the IRS. She threatened me with JAIL, SEIZURE OF MY HOUSE, A HEFTY FINE, AND EVEN DEPORTATION. of course I knew it was a scam, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. She became very belligerent and screamed at me that I was in BIG, BIG TROUBLE!

When I finally became weary of playing with her, I hung up, and received another call from the same number. This time it was a recorded message in a robotic voice informing me that I was to call 206-317-7834, or face the dire consequences.

If these people call you, make sure you don't give out any info... But I suggest playing with them a bit so that their time is wasted. Maybe pretend to believe them, give them wild, bogus information, and send them on wild goose chases. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon.
