He said he was with the US Government Branch Department or Grant Dept, I couldn't tell. I told him there was no such thing. He then said he was calling from the National Health Institute, so I asked why he was calling from a Seattle number when NIH is located in Bethesda. Been receiving similar calls from a D.C. number, I suspect they are voip calls out of country being used by scammers.

This number calls repeatedly! I tried to call the number back today to tell them to STOP and I get a recording that the phone number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. If so, I have a feeling whoever is making the call will get new numbers to call from. Their calls are a total disrepute. to my day and I am on the Do Not Call Registry. They are in violation.

I forgot to add the number they called from. It wasn't the same call back number they gave. 206-325-7896 from Seattle, Washington. Be Careful with these scammers. He also kept asking me to agree with what he was saying during the call. He would say do you know about grants? I would say "go on" and he would prompt me for a yes or no response. He did this with several questions. Then he asked for my name, zip, and age. I wouldn't give him anything more and he said we can come back to other questions later. Just be cautious.

They called me today. Same as above. The accent was middle eastern and I could barely make out his english. He said his name was Jason William...... not what i was expecting. he told me I qualified for a grant of 14,556 dollars. He then said he needed to transfer me to his manager so I hung up. I didn't know if they were going to charge my cell for an international call and I got nervous and decided to end the call. He called back and it went to my voicemail. He just said, "hello?" and I could hear other foreign voices in the background. Some were speaking another language and i didn't hear any Americans talking at all. This has to be a scam. Who else would pretend to work for the US government and give a fake name.
Be careful and follow your gut when these losers call you.

They said I was getting a US grant for 9000$ they could barely speak English. An Asian accent. I told them to give it to Kim young UN and they hung up they had called about 10 times before until I installed call block app from google play store haven't herd from them since

They left a voicemail by mistake. A voice in the back ground said he was Jack from the US Government Grant Department. The last minute of the voicemail was spoken in a foreign language, NOT English.
