How do I make them stop calling me? They call several times per week, and have been calling for a couple years. I have reported complaints numerous times on the Do Not Call site. I've told them to stop calling me. What else can be done about this? It's driving me nuts

The calls I get come from "affiliates" of an online pharmacy called rxpayouts.com, a pyramid scheme. They all use the same customer-service number (877-479-2455) and variations of the same boilerplate website. Just search for that phone number and you'll see how many "pharmacies" there are. Internet forums are full of complaints regarding both 206-337-3269 and 877-479-2455. The first number is bogus; they spoof the caller-ID info (I wonder if that number really does belong to the IRS and who else is spoofing it for scams). This is illegal, and so is repeated calling. The routine always seems to be the same. They call asking for some random person, claiming that person has placed an order in the past. Telling them that they have the wrong number does no good; they continue to call. They want us to buy their stupid meds (which may or may not be legit), but how does it benefit them to repeatedly call someone who doesn't want to talk to them? They claim to be located in Salt Lake City, but I suspect that they are in India. Good luck getting the FTC to do anything about it. We should all repeatedly call their customer service number above using your favorite internet phone service (so they don't see your number on their caller-ID), press 1 or 2 for order help, and hang up when a rep answers. If enough people do it, we could totally tie up their customer service people! We'll see how *they* like being harassed constantly. Or, when they call, you could pretend you are interested in placing an order and tie them up as long as you can (go to fakenamegenerator.com and get a complete fake identity to give them). Or you can try the loud horn idea. Some people say that eventually works. But I think the calls come from different affiliates because I suspect that they circulate phone lists. You may get one to stop calling but others will continue to call.

Did not answer. Let machine take it. Gonna have fun next time they call. Scare the crap right out of them if I can. If you have caller ID, just don't answer. Its on a computer link that has auto dial. You are being called at random. Major scam as they want your financial info to steal as much as they can.
