says they are my computer software support they had scammed me before
My caller ID said Amazon. My home phone blocked the call without me having to answering it.
The original call I received was from a so-called loan company called Monthly Installment Loan Company from a guy by the name Shawn Miller at (206)430-6228. Their website is www.monthlyinstallmentloans.com, so they said. He called concerning a loan & stated in order for me to get a loan I had to pay an up front, fully refundable fee of $50 with an Apple gift card, which like an absolute idiot, I did. After paying The $50, this guy Grant from the loan company called me & said that Texas requires the person receiving the loan to pay a state to state wire fee of $120. Once they told me that, I asked for my fully refundable fee of $50. He then had a guy by the name Stephen Johnson call me from (903)829-6286 who supposedly works for the Texas State Bar commission. I proceeded in asking a bunch of questions & told him I didn't believe what he was saying, one of the reasons is because I could hear a bunch of people in the background on phones. I also let him know that I've already spoken to the FBI field office here in Houston (which I did) & the woman I spoke with said I had to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at (877)382-4357. By the way, the phone number for the Texas State Bar commission is legitimate, if anyone else would like to file a legal complaint against these people. Well, this Mr. Johnson proceeded to tell me, how dare I speak to a state employee so rudely, said don't call his office again & hung up on me. Also, FYI, other people I spoke with was a Sam Walters, another guy I don't recall the name & a woman Sarah Lopev. They are crooks!!!
