[Columbus, Ohio] I received a call from this number, and they left the following automated message:
"Hello. This call is a final notice from the IRS - Internal Revenue Service. The reason for this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately at our department number, (206)451-0649. I repeat, (206)451-0649. Thank you.
STAY ALERT. THIS IS A SCAM.

i played along and got him all the way to taking my credit card info and then yelled "YEAH RIGHT SUCKER!! HAHAHA!" he hung up
Called me too. Is there anyway these people can be busted? They will eventually find an elderly person who will believe they are legit and scam them. Elderly people are frequently victimized by scammers.
Phone message left from #1-206-451-0649.
What a piece of work these people are... First phone call back, a female answers and states "A warrant is out for your arrest are you aware of this? You owe $2,500 for (such and such years) that your taxes were audited. There was a miscalculation. States under code 6331H..blah blah.. court house appearance and warrant out for your arrest." Will you be wanting to clear this up?. ( answer) Please hold." The call disconnects so I called back and got a male who gave me his badge ID# AL0825, now telling me to listen without interruption or hanging up. Then states "you owe the IRS 3,200." Wait, WHAT?? I stated how can you guys disconnect from me and I call you back, now I owe more? He hangs up!!!! I did not give out any information besides them telling me my address and name and phone. Unbelievable!! Please never give out your personal information over the phone NEVER!!!! SCAM
