It's not a Scam, it's the Amazon delivery guy!

I think this was Amazon, I received the call while I had my ringer off, but received a package from Amazon around the same time. But, I certainly wouldn't give them information. If you are indeed expecting a package you can track the location of delivery under orders and via the app. Seattle area cide

Amazon delivery person. Needed access to building for delivery. Keep in mind that these are 3rd party delivery services that Amazon uses so they may arrive in a personal vehicle.

Called and sounded like young female in her 20s, said she had several packages but the door was locked. Said just leave the package outside. Very weird, since when does a delivery person ask to get in the house? Looked out window and there were no delivery trucks. Went downstairs and there was no packages anywhere. Called number back and was automated response machine saying this means someone from amazon tried to call you about an order.

Called today while I was out grocery shopping. I didn’t answer the call, but seeing this, I’m creeped out, because I was expecting a delivery today. It came about an hour after I got home. I probably would have given up information knowing that I was expecting a delivery.

Call claiming to be amazon delivery service which started by asking my name. They told me my delivery would be delayed if I did not give them the information they were requesting. I was out of the house when the call came and when I got home the package had been delivered. Suspect scam because obviously if they are delivering a package they have my name.
