Claimed to be from Microsoft. Had my name, phone number, and personal computer's IP address. Told me I had downloaded malicious and illegal software and they were calling me to help fix it. He had a thick Western Asian accent and did not seem to understand my questions. After doing a reverse look up- could not discover a company name but have 2 phone numbers for this violator.

Reduced interest rates on credit cards. When I asked to be put on the Do No Call list, I was told that unless I signed up for their services, they would not put me on that list. I have had numerous calls from this place and I don't know who they are and I can't dial back to them. Seattle WA is what comes up on my caller ID.

protection from computer virus attacks

It was a boiler room call from a non-native English speaker who was trying to sell computer security solution on the basis of a satellite internet issue (which we don't have). Caller repeatedly called back within minutes several times after being told not to call this number. Had to unplug the phone to block the harrassing calls.
