Computer virus protection

Hayden from Nexis Company in Brooklyn called to inform me that his company has been getting malicious messages from my computer and he works for Microsoft and he's calling to help me fix my computer... I asked for a number to call him back, he said they couldn't give out a number cause they had millions of customer... I let him ramble for a bit and then informed him I was on the do not call list, and his call was BS and in violation and I'd be reporting it.

Tried to scare me with computer crashes and threats to my computer and that if I did not do anything, that I would be in trouble. I asked where he got my information from, they had received notifcation from Microsoft of these problems. When asked what services, I was told, let me show you. I said show me what, he said on your computer. I told him I was at my computer and there was nothing wrong. I asked him again, what do you want, because I am on my lunch hour here and that is when he got really upset.

They claimed my computer transmitted them errors and they wanted me to give them access to my system to fix it. This is the second time I have been contacted by this scam, so I told them I didn't believe them. He ended up cussing and threatening me as I hung up. I see on the internet, that this number is used for theis scam and see many people reporting it.

Calls from this number occur about every 10 minutes from mid morning to mid afternoon daily. All I could find out from the reverse directory is that they are coming from the Seattle WA area. The telephone service provider is International Telcom LTD. I have emailed them twice about the problem and left voicemails on their listed telephone number (which is conveniently always unmanned).
This has been going on for nearly a week.
What should I do next? I'm in S. CA, so it's too far for me to drive up there and pound on the telephone companies door.
