It was a recording from the president of Hillsdale College talking about how I was a "friend" of them etc. I've also been getting mailings from them and I don't know how they got my name and number. When I called the number back it was a recording saying they were the national do not call registery and to press 1 to block the number. Sounds suspicious to me.
