Offered to sell me a wireless security system. I gave them the name of the governor and the address of the capitol building. Alas, he did not ask for my credit card number at that time. (That is where I like to "go get my credit card" and let the teleparasites wait until they give up.) Someone is supposed to call back to arrange installation. So far no call. I have turned on my fax software to "answer" the phone.

Caller id said "Winner" and no one left a message. I'm damn sure not gonna call them back! What's the point of being on the do not call list when these morons can still call you? It's insane!

Only a claim that more info was available if the Number "1" was pressed or press "2" to be removed. Both of these are FALSE as we have tried to use them in the past and nothing happens!

This is at least the second time within two weeks I've *spoken* to who I think is the very same woman calling from this number. She states it is not a marketing call, even though it clearly is (she lies, especially when you call back and are told it is a marketing call and you can call back). When I inquired about the name of the company, she said "Home Protection, in Dallas, TX". When I asked the phone number or address of the company, she refused to provide it and said people only wanted that when they wanted to report the call as a telemarketing call! She declared the number was a call center only. She hung up on me both times as I pressed for details of who was calling. The Caller ID does indeed say "winner." My number is listed on the "do not call registry." The first time I requested this company to remove me from their database, as I did this time. These are flagrant violations of the "do not call" laws. Unbelievable. How are they hoping to sell anything? They only anger me

Lowering intrest rates on current cards. The message begins by saying this is an urgent matter and last chance to lower your intrest rates. I had been receiving this call on my home phone for 2 months at least so I put them on my block list, because even though there is an option to press 3 if you do not want their calls, it is ineffective. I even went to the option so I could talk to a live person and when I told her what I was going through with this non stop calling from this solicitor, she hung up on me before I finished. So I blocked it on my list, which is limited to 12 #s. Now I'm getting this company calling my cell phone and it is no doubt, the exact same recording for lowering your intrest rates on your credit cards.

At first I got the recording then some guy came on to ask if I wanted to get the security system. I said I just dont want to be bothered and do not call me anymore. He said, "Why wouldnt you want a free alam system?" and I said I just wanted to be left alone, the he called me a Loser and said he dont give a s**t.

I would love to wreck this place from the phone service. Why cant we make it stop?
