Lower rate on credit cards.

Lowered interest rate for credit card, but this is NOT my bank calling or any agent calling on my bank's behalf

Financial services-and it sounded very threatening, as if they were impersonating a credit card company about to cancel a credit card, when in fact it turned out they were selling some service to drop the interest rate. They did NOT identify themselves. When I elected to speak to the operator, I inquired as to why they called our number, which is on the Do Not Call list. They promptly hung up on me.

Card Member Services offered credit card interest rates lowering/debt

The robot call said call was from Card Member Services. The message was that I could get lower interest rates on credit card debt if I had a balance over a certain amount.

Call claimed to be from "Card Services" offering to get me a lower interest rate if my credit card balances are above $3,000. "This is the last time we will call, we have called you many times." We've heard this same message many times on this and another line in the past, but do not have a call log.

Claimed they had an open credit card file- wanted to give lower rate or would cancel file. I have repeatedly told these people to remove me from their database and I was on do not call list. They continue to call all the time.
