Recorded msg said since they had mailed me two different times and I had not responded that's why they were calling (I did NOT receive anything like that in the mail). I waited and pushed "1" to talk to an operator. "Nick" said it was Credit Card Services and they help people negotiate lower interest rates on their credit cards. I did not give out any personal information and I told him I thought it was a scam. He very professionally-sounding told me that they were completely legal, etc. I also told him I was going to report them to the FCC.

The caller ID said Financial Ctr and the taped message said call was from Card Member Services.The message was that I could get lower interest rates on credit card debt if I had a balance over a certain amount. I pressed 1 to speak to a person and asked them to remove me from their call list. They promptly hung up
