Dear Busy, Unfortunately, I own that t-shirt too. The last 18 years of parenting seems to be a blur at times bsceuae of the busy schedule with all of the family needs, church activities, kids activities, school activities, the list is forever growing. There was a time when we were homeschooling just five kids and we had two on softball teams, one in soccer, and one in baseball. Practice was every night of the week, with tournaments every single weekend, usually we had someone on two different fields at any given time. We did AWANAs, Friday co-op, Tuesday Joyful Sound rehearsal (an all day event), and a Thursday Classical education program (also all day). Our home felt more like a pit stop than a home. Family meals were non-existent. We were busy, but then the season quickly changed. I do not regret when they all played ball, it was something even our extended family joined in with us to participate in. We knew it was just in the Spring, then it would end. My husband had the wisdom to pull us out of some extra commitments that were causing mental exhaustion on me more than anything like taking the job of team fundraiser, etc. What I learned through those busy busy seasons was that, no amount of activities were worth the nervous breakdown that hit me as a result. My hero husband saw what it was doing to us and we pulled out of everything and committed as a family to one manageable activity. The biggest blessing to our home, and my mental health was when we decided not to participate in ANY evening activities, and we joined a church that had the philosophy of keeping families together and not programming families to a slow spiritual death. We left open our Saturdays for whatever God wanted to put on our calendar from week to week, be it visiting a relative, helping a family clean their home before a baby arrived, or assisting a friend with a move. Sundays became sacred, no more softball tournaments and scheduling conflicts, we just rested one day as a family. One last thing that God used to truly change my approach to a busy life is when I read the book First things First by Stephen Covey. It's an excellent book that teaches you how to prioritize your to-do list based on your key relationships, not based on a never-ending check list. Enjoy your family, love deeply, work hard together, and play hard together. Blessings to you!

Call and left no number. When called back, it says the number is temporarily unavailable. Please try your call later. Went straight to my DNA (do not answer).

The caller asked for one of the residents at this address by name and said someone from this number had requested information on affordable health care recently. I asked her to hold while I checked. When I went back online to tell her that no one had, she either had already hung up (there was a "dead air" sound to the call) or hung up immediately after (dial tone immediately came on).

They claimed that I requested information on affordable health care insurance. I have made no such requests and have insurance.

Ask if I was one of the "millions" of Americans that did not have health insurance. I assume they wanted to quote me health insurance coverage.
